“I’d been having shoulder pain. Came in and sat in the sauna and had an hour-long massage. Left feeling 10 times better than when I came in. Theresa is the best! Extremely caring and makes sure you are comfortable, every step of the way. Highly recommend!”
“Theresa truly cares about each of her clients and pours love into everything she does. She knows her craft and skillfully brings me into relaxation each time I visit.”
More Than Relaxation — Backed by Research
Massage, red light therapy, and infrared sauna aren't just indulgences. A growing body of peer-reviewed research shows they deliver real, measurable benefits for pain, recovery, and long-term health. Here is some of what the science says.
Therapeutic Massage. Systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials find massage meaningfully reduces chronic and subacute low-back pain — especially alongside movement — and consistently lowers anxiety, stress, and pain while improving sleep and quality of life.
Red Light Therapy. Also called photobiomodulation, red and near-infrared light has strong clinical evidence for pain and recovery. A landmark review of 16 randomized trials in The Lancet (Chow et al., 2009) found it significantly relieved chronic neck pain versus placebo, and later meta-analyses show benefit for fibromyalgia and tendon injuries — working by lowering inflammation at the cellular level.
Infrared Sauna. Landmark Finnish research following 2,315 adults for two decades (Laukkanen et al., JAMA Internal Medicine, 2015) linked regular sauna use to dramatically lower cardiovascular and all-cause mortality — up to 50% lower fatal heart disease among the most frequent users — with improved circulation and blood pressure echoed in Mayo Clinic Proceedings. Infrared saunas like ours are believed to offer comparable benefits when heat exposure is similar.
